Homeowners who are considering refinancing their home may have a wealth of options available to them.

However, these same homeowners may find themselves feeling overwhelmed by this wealth of options. This process doesn’t have to be so difficult though. Homeowners can greatly assist themselves in the process by taking a few simple steps. First the homeowner should determine his refinancing goals. Next the homeowner should consult with a refinancing expert and finally the homeowner should be aware that refinancing is not always the best solution.

Determine Your Goals for Refinancing

The first step in any refinancing process should be for the homeowner to determine his goals and why he is considering refinancing. There are many different answers to this question and none of the answers are necessarily right or wrong. The most important thing is that the homeowner is making a decision which helps him achieve his financial goals. While there are no right or wrong answer to why refinancing should be considered there are, however, certain reasons for refinancing which are very common. These reasons include:

* Reducing monthly mortgage payments

* Consolidating existing debts

* Reducing the amount of interest paid over the course of the loan

* Repaying the loan quicker

* Gaining equity quicker

Although the reasons listed above are not the only reason homeowners might consider refinancing, they are some of the most popular reasons. They are included in this chapter for the purpose of getting the reader thinking. The reader may find their mortgage refinancing strategy fits into one of the above goals or they may have a completely different reason for wanting to re-finance. The reason for wanting to re-finance is not as important as determining this reason. This is because a homeowner, or even a financial advisor, will have a difficult time determining the best refinancing option for a homeowner if he does not know the goals of the homeowner.

Consult with a Refinancing Expert

Once a homeowner has figured out why they want to re-finance, the homeowner should consider meeting with a refinancing expert to determine the best refinancing strategy. This will likely be a strategy which is financially sound but is also still geared to meeting the needs of the homeowner.

Homeowners who feel as though they are particularly well versed in the subject of refinancing might consider skipping the option of consulting with a refinancing expert. However, this is not recommended because even the most educated homeowner may not be aware of the newest refinancing options being offered by lenders.

While not understanding all the options may not seem like a big deal, it can have a significant impact. Homeowners may not even be aware of mistakes they are making but they may here of friends who re-financed under similar conditions and receive more favorable terms. Hearing these scenarios can be quite disheartening for some homeowners especially if they could have saved considerably more while refinancing.

Consider Not Refinancing as a Viable Option

Homeowners who are considering refinancing may realize the importance of evaluating a number of different refinancing options to determine which option is best but these same homeowners may not realize they should also carefully consider not refinancing as an option. This is often referred to as the “do nothing” option because it refers to the conditions which will exist if the homeowner does not make a change in their mortgage situation.

For each refinancing option considered, the homeowner should determine the estimated monthly payment, amount of interest paid during the course of the loan, year in which the loan will be fully repaid and the amount of time the homeowner will have to remain in the home to recoup closing costs associated with refinancing.

Homeowners should also determine these values for the current mortgage. This can be very helpful for comparison purposes. Homeowners can compare these results and often the best option is quite clear from these numeric calculations. However, if the analysis does not yield a clear cut answer, the homeowner may have to evaluate secondary characteristics to make the best possible decision.

Why on-page SEO is more vital than ever

This is to be the first in a series on Search Engine Optimization. And we start with on-page SEO.

What is on-page SEO? Well, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, and it's the process of making your web pages stand out in the rankings and more search engine visible. On-page SEO is the process of optimizing your titles, descriptions, content, tags, and other factors that make up the structure of your website, to make your web pages more easily found and categorized by the search engine spiders.

In years past, this was considered to be the most important activity for online marketers to tweak in order for them to receive a high score when the search engines actually ranked their web pages. However, times change and the search engine algorithms change along with them, in particular, Google. The most recent emphasis has been towards the use of backlinks or off-page SEO.

Some SEO consultants and watchers have actually begun to suggest that on-page SEO is obsolete. Google was no longer paying any attention to on-page SEO and was totally preoccupied entirely with inbound linking (or backlinks). However, the tide shifts again, and the massive changes that Google instituted in early 2011 - their Farmer/Panda update - has swung the pendulum back to on-page SEO and those critical elements that make up effective SEO.

What Google wants to do is tackle the problem of "junk" websites head on. They have started to look much more closely at the "quality" of page content, weeding out those with just meaningless, incorrect, irrelevant, and senseless "crap" that make up a lot of web sites. Heavily linked ad and (even) Ad-Sense pages are out. Quality content with useful information is in.

Benefits of Having On-Page SEO

The benefits of focusing on on-page SEO include:

* Control is with the website owner. With off-page SEO, onliOne marketers will have to get in touch with other websites from the same niche, hoping against hope that these individuals will backlink to them. With on-page SEO, they have greater control with their page rankings. As such, they will at least have an idea of what their page rankings are based on their efforts, unlike off-page site optimization that can be quite arbitrary.

* Less burden on the website owner. Off-page SEO can be very time-consuming and requires constant work in order for a website to have achieve and maintain page rankings. With on-page SEO, once you have optimized your pages, you can just leave these alone as long as you do SEO correctly the first time. High quality content remains high quality whatever else goes on around it!

* Your web pages become better focused. With the right keywords in the titles and the body of the text, even a single glance at your website can make both search engine spiders and site visitors understand what your website is about right away. As long as it's done correctly, your efforts in optimizing your web pages will indicate that you're an expert in your niche, making it more likely for your site visitors to trust you and even purchase from you.

* Less focus on competition. If you've ever tried off-page SEO, you know that it feels like you're running a marathon. You contact other websites from your niche to try to get backlinks, but at the same time, you're quite aware of the fact that some of these websites are actually your rivals when it comes to traffic and even sales. With on-page SEO, you become more focused on the content of your websites, and less on your competitors. This allows you to pay more attention to your website so that you can monitor and make changes that will improve your ranking.

Factors to Look for in On-Page SEO

* Content. When it comes to websites, content remains king. In fact, after the last Google update it has been promoted to Emperor! Some people may have thought that they had got away with using black hat techniques in order to get a good page ranking, but the search engines are now starting to catch up with them. While questionable strategies may work for a time, they will eventually be noticed by the search engines, and will be blocked and penalized permanently.

Focus instead on making sure the content of your website deserves a more permanent place in the page rankings. Do bear in mind that content doesn't just refer to the quality of the material in your website; its presentation is also as relevant. Thus, the design, readability, functionality, and layout also play important roles when it comes to content.

* Having a Theme. Having a theme is a big part when it comes to SEO. You can bring more traffic to your website by simply using keywords that have the same theme as your main keyword. For example, if the topic or theme of the content of your website is birthday, some of the related keywords you can include would be candles, cake, balloons, and other keywords that follow the same theme as that. As such, those who are looking for these auxiliary terms will also be able to find your website, increasing your chances of making sales.

* Keywords, links and meta-tags within the site. Do make sure that the keywords, links, and meta-tags in your website are relevant to the content. Furthermore, do check your links and tags if any are broken, or if there are orphan pages, as these can negatively affect your page rankings.
Of course, this doesn't mean that you will simply set aside all of your off-page and offline SEO efforts for on-page SEO. You will need to focus on these factors to ensure that your page rankings will remain high and will not suffer.

* Google update. Google, the foremost search engine today, regularly changes its algorithm used in an attempt to prevent fraudulent websites from getting top page rankings. Even if you're at the top of the list today, you can go down the next day because of the algorithm change. Do check the news for any updates Google, or any other search engines, will make so you can stay on top of these and make changes to your website accordingly. Google's own webmaster guidelines and their informative blogs can be of great assistance.

PLR's - Huh?

I have been doing a lot of PLR's lately, and they are a true goldmine. But before I get to telling you more about them, I'm going to list a couple I've recently posted:

1. Simple List Building Blueprint Course - a really comprehensive viudeo course that comes with MRR.
2. Truly Raw - an eBook all about eating raw foods, raw food diets, pros and cons, etc. Comes with an opt-in set of emails that discusses the subject even further.

Enough of the prelim stuff - let's get down to it.

Why private label is your best friend.

One of the biggest problems that would-be Internet marketers face is where to get good content to fill up your web pages or blogs. This article looks at private label as being an ideal source, if you know how to use it the right way.

Content is King, for sure. The search engines are not interested in ranking thin, content-poor web pages and are actively working to adjust their algorithms to weed out those pages that don't provide useful information. That makes it increasingly difficult for website builders because with the best will in the world, very few are ready, willing and able to continue to write an endless stream of quality content for themselves.

For many people writing is difficult to start with, but factor in the limited time that people have these days and the likelihood that however passionate you are about your niche, you'll soon run out of things to say, and it gets almost impossible.

And of course, if your web site is on a subject that you don't have personal knowledge or passion about, writing fresh content may be completely impossible for you.

All the evidence suggests, though, that the need for on-topic, well-written content is growing. The search engines have as good as said so and are now, more than ever before, looking to de-list sites that they consider to be lacking authority.

All this means that one supply of content that has gone in and out of fashion over the years, private label articles, it coming back with a vengeance.

Private label articles, or PLR articles as they are commonly known, are very cheap, but can totally transform your Internet marketing and web building.

PLR stands for private label rights and describes the license you get for using them after you've bought them.

Private label means that once you've bought them, all rights of ownership are transferred to you. You then have the rights to treat the articles as your own, as if you had written them.

Unlike other ways of buying 'information', there is no copyright on PLR so you are free to change them, rewrite them, re-purpose them, even put your own name on the top and claim authorship.

In general, you cannot resell them in an unchanged state, and many article directories do not allow you to post them, but other than that, they become yours to do with as you please.

That wide-ranging 'right of use' is a very powerful thing indeed and makes PLR one of the most undervalued heroes of online marketing. Far too few people have really understood just how many ways PLR articles (or even entire books) can be used, and how much money some people are making by using them.

Having said that, it is also important that you understand that as with many things, there is really good PLR material out there and a lot of absolute garbage.

Over the years a lot of really bad articles have been written, more often than not by people with really bad writing and language skills, that are identifiable as private label from a mile away. If you can see an article is badly written and makes no real attempt to cover its promised topic, you can bet the search engines can weed it out too. Using such trash doesn't do your site any good at all.

In fact, with new changes that Google have announced that will make it easier for them to weed out what they consider to be spam websites, using poor quality PLR can be really harmful to your business. So to that end, make sure you read what you buy and at the very least, rewrite it to correct blatant spelling and grammar errors. And if you can, add more meat to the thin articles as well.

You will often see offers online of thousands of articles being sold for peanuts. 10,000 articles for $10 is not unusual! Steer clear. The articles in these packages are almost all horrible. They have been around for many years, have been used to death and, all too often, are not PLR material at all - they have been stolen from non-plr websites. It is a case of buyer beware.

Luckily, there are many very reputable sources of great PLR articles. Some will sell you packages individually and others are membership sites that provide a steady stream of articles to their members.

Look to see examples of their work before you buy - all reputable PLR sellers will be happy to provide you with a sample or two if you email and ask - and check for spelling, grammar and language use. If they make mistakes in the articles they send out as samples, you can bet they are equally sloppy in what you'll buy.

Look also, for the articles to have a certain depth. A good article should read naturally and not appear as if it has been created purely as a keyword holder.

And when you get the articles, rewrite them.

I know I said that PLR makes your life easier, and it does. It is far, far easier to rewrite an article into your own words - just take it one sentence at a time - than it is to research and write a new article from scratch. You'll save a huge amount of time and effort, but the end result will be content on your website that is fresh, relevant, authoritative and, to the search engines, exactly what is needed.

And that is money in the bank.

Membership sites are not a new thing. Way back in 1996, Bill Gates said that he estimated membership sites to be a $20-$30 million dollar per year industry.

Mr Gates has got more things right than wrong in his career, but that wasn't one of them. Just 14 years later and the figure is more like $2 Billion Dollars annually. Membership sites are big business and despite the worldwide recession, continue to grow in importance.

A membership site is, by and large, one that charges subscribers a monthly fee to access its website. But charging a monthly fee isn't the only game in town - another perfectly viable business model is to allow members to join for free, but to monetize the site through special subscriber offers made each time the member logs in.

Whichever membership model you choose, you will need a few things in place:

* A domain and hosting

* An autoresponder

* Membership site software

* Content to regularly post to the site

Domains and hosting, and autoresponders, are beyond the scope of this article. We will consider the membership site software you can use and the content you need to post.

There are dozens of options - from the plugins that you can add to a WordPress blog, through newbie-friendly programs like Easy Member Pro, right up to powerful scripts such as Login Frequency Marketing.

There is software available to suit every pocket - even one or two free options.

Why are membership sites so popular?

The Internet has become synonymous with 'free'. People expect information to be available for free and sites like Wikipedia are happy to provide that service. However, people have also come to realize that with free information there is relatively little quality control. If they want good, premium content then they know that they will sometimes have to pay for it.

In addition, people like the idea of belonging to an exclusive club, and online membership sites can offer that kind of exclusivity that they crave.

Of course, no membership site can survive for long if it doesn't provide those things: great, fresh content and a sense of belonging.

The Advantages to Building Membership Websites

One of the problems with Internet marketing as it is generally practiced is that you constantly need to find new customers and make new sales. You can have a great month and sell a lot of the latest big launch product, but what do you do next month? Or the month after? The wheel has to be reinvented over and over again.

With a membership site, you remove most of that ongoing stress. You do your job of selling the memberships and then they pay you month in, month out, automatically. You don't have to ask for the money - your payment processor just takes it - and you never need to remind anyone to pay up.

Although three will be a number of people who will unsubscribe and cancel their subscriptions each month, on the whole most will stay.

The industry average is reckoned to be that members stay for about 4 months, but many of the quality membership sites expect their members to stick around a lot longer than that!

The result is that you work once to set up the site to begin with and then again to attract members in, but after that the financials of your business will be based on residual earnings - in other words, once they've started paying, they'll keep on.

Residual income is the sweetest money of all and can quite literally last for years with no extra effort on your part.

Of course, with a membership site you do have to add new content, or provide some kind of service to keep your members interested.

If you have a site based on the use of a piece of software you've written or had created for you, your ongoing input may be negligible after the initial set up, but if you are providing information, you will need to develop a routine for creating new stuff for your members on a regular basis.

Many people ignore the power of membership sites to build themselves a very useful income, but to do so is a folly. After all, 100 members paying just $9.99 per month amounts to $1000 a month and may only require you to write a new article each week.

Some membership sites are even set up so that the members themselves create the ongoing content. Recipe sites, for example, encourage members to post new recipes for all to see, and to participate in discussion forums that only members can access. The site owners can charge a nice monthly fee, but in actuality don't have to create any content at all!

Whatever your current online marketing business model, consider adding a membership site or two to your stable of Internet properties. Your residual income will skyrocket and your workload may well be lower than you ever imagined possible.

Email Marketing - The Most Satisfying Way to Make Money Online

In a very short space of time, email has completely changed the face of direct marketing. Over the last 100 years or so many millionaires have been created by direct marketing - sending ads out to thousands of people by mail. But a lot of people have lost their shirts because although the potential rewards are great, the potential losses can be huge too. Mail shots cost a lot of money and if they don't pull in the orders, you can be looking at a huge expense. Email marketing has changed the ground rules. Now, almost anyone can get involved and the cost of entry is virtually nil.

With email there are no printing costs, no envelopes to buy, no staff to employ to stuff the envelopes and no postage costs.

Of course, there is a thin line between legitimate email marketing and spam. The very first known case of spam (unsolicited commercial email) was sent to 393 recipients by Gary Theurk, then an employee of DEC computers. It was sent out over the old ArpaNet system - the precursor to today's Internet - in May 1978.

Nobody liked it then, and nobody likes it now. It is estimated that over 85% of all email sent is spam of one kind or another.

Legitimate email marketing can be very profitable, but the most successful, and ethical email marketers go to great lengths to ensure that they are only sending emails to willing recipients and that their emails comply with local regulations such as the American Can-Spam act.

To be successful in legitimate email marketing it is important to build a relationship with the people to whom you are sending your messages. That usually means establishing your own reputation and making sure you provide people with interesting, readable content. Of course you will want to include promotional messages to sell things, but if that's all you send out, your readers will soon get tired and unsubscribe from your list.

As an email marketer your mailing list is the most valuable commodity you own. In general, most email list marketers say that the average return should be $1 per subscriber per month. So a list of 5000 people should, on average, make its owner $5000 per month.

Averages deceive though. A marketer who sends out ad after ad, sales pitch after sales pitch, with no attempt to communicate, entertain or inform will usually see a much lower rate of return. On the other hand, someone who sends out a well written newsletter filled with interesting and useful information - that also happens to include a personally written sales message - can enjoy a rate of return many times the industry average.

It takes more work to write an interesting newsletter or ezine, but the long term rewards can make the effort very worthwhile.

There is an old adage that 'The money's in the list', and it is true provided you have the right list and have established a trusting relationship with the people on it.

Too many email marketers think of their 'list' as a commodity and forget that it is made up of individuals. The most successful ones never forget that they are writing to people, not lists.

There are many ways to become an Internet marketer and email marketing is just one of them. It may not be the easiest to succeed at - you will need to develop your writing and communication skills and learn how to build your list in the first place - but for those of us who make our living writing email newsletters it is by far one of the most satisfying.

There are so many ways to make money online that entire books have been devoted to the subject, with each chapter offering a different idea. Creating and selling your own information products is a very viable method of building an online business - and can be an extremely profitable one too.

Before we look into the ways that you - or anyone - can start to create your own information products, we first need to define what information products actually are. To many people starting out, the very term, information product, is daunting and can put one off. But get past that and you'll soon realize that like most things connected to online marketing, the jargon often hides a simple concept.

In the main, people are searching online for information. When we do a Google search we almost always are trying to find an answer to a question.

Some of those questions are about mundane things and can be answered very easily. But some questions are more complex, more important and more pressing. For those, while one may be able to find answers after long hours of intense research, it is far easier to buy a ready-made solution.

The more intense the question, the more we are willing to pay for an answer.

The difference between online and offline information products is that offline everyone has a view as to how much a 'book' or a 'magazine' is worth and will rarely pay more than the accepted norm. Online, however, it is the information that is valued, and not so much the delivery vehicle. So people will often pay a lot more for an answer to a pressing need online that they will offline.

Information products come in all shapes and sizes. A few to consider are:

Ebooks - Usually PDF files formatted to look like a real book, but with fewer pages. A typical ebook is between 70 and 100 pages, but can be a lot less, or a lot more. Ebooks can sell for anything from a few dollars to hundreds. A price point of $67 or $97 is not unusual.

Special Reports - As with ebooks, special reports are normally supplied as PDF files, but they tend to be much shorter. 5-10 pages is typical. Special reports are usually focused on answering a single problem or teaching a specific method for something and have a lot less fluff and filler than ebooks often do.

White papers - Sometimes the answer to a question can be contained in a page or two - a list of resources, for example.

Videos - with the ease of use of hand held video cameras such as the Flip, and screen capture programs it is very easy now to produce short videos to answer people's questions. Buyers seem to like video products and are often willing to pay a premium price for them.

Audio - spoken word information products - often called podcasts - are popular with people who regularly use MP3 players and Smartphones as they allow folks to learn while on the move. Sometimes it is quite easy to simply read out an article or short report into a program like Audacity to make an audio info product that will sell well.

Membership sites - When information can be delivered over time, in instalments, it can be very profitable to do so from within a membership site. This gives the vendor an ongoing income from subscription fees as well as a frequent opportunity to offer members other offers.

Creating your own information products has one very big advantage. When you sell it, you determine the price and you keep all the profits. And as the cost of creating, producing and supplying digitally down loadable info products is virtually nil, the potential profits can be enormous. You can literally start a real business but with no overheads.

In addition to sales you make yourself, you also have the chance to attract and recruit other people to sell on your behalf. In Internet marketing these people are called affiliates. They will promote your product to their lists, and if they incur any advertising costs will be entire responsible for them themselves. You simply pay them a commission for each sale they make.

Typically, you will pay them 50% - 75% of the sales price, which may sound a lot, but consider the sale one you wouldn't have otherwise had, and it has cost you nothing. You may 'only' make 25%, but that 25% is 100% profit. It is a great deal!

Sometimes it is better to offer your product as a free gift in return for some body's email address. Building up an email list is a vital part of online marketing and can massively increase your profitability. It is an effort to attract new traffic to your offers, but if you have already got a list of 1000 people to tell about a new information product you've created, you can really boost your launch results with no extra effort.

Creating free information products as giveaways to attract subscribers is very effective and easy to do. It should be a part of all marketers' routine.

Traffic Generation - The Missing Link For Internet Marketers

Traffic is the lifeblood of the Internet and traffic generation is what drives Internet marketing.

A website on its own is like a store at the wrong end of a one-way street: it can be the most wonderful thing that you can possibly create, but with no passing trade the sound of the tumbleweed will be louder than that of the cash register.

Search engine optimization is mainly done to entice Google to send your site free traffic from its natural searches, but search engine traffic isn't the only game in town. There are lots of other ways to get people to visit your site.

There is an ongoing argument among the expert marketers - which is more important, getting traffic or converting that traffic into paying customers? On the one hand you can't convert what you don't have, but on the other, all the traffic in the world is useless if it doesn't turn into buyers.

The reality is that they are not at odds at all - they are simply two sides of the same coin.

It should be simple. Go and tell people about your whizzy new website and they'll come take a look. It is called advertising. Unfortunately it isn't that easy - or simple. You can tell how hard it really is by taking a quick look inside any of the big Internet marketing forums. There you'll find people constantly complaining that Internet marketing doesn't work and that they've wasted years doing everything they were told, building the exact sites that the guru's methods told them to; and yet they still failed to make any money.

When you scratch under the surface you almost always find that yes, they did do everything right, but the methods they were taught fell short at the important part. They were told to build sites. They were tutored in some of the most effective online marketing strategies, but they were not told that the site building was only the beginning. Traffic generation is the ongoing, never-ending process that only starts when the website is finished.

So, doing great on and off page SEO to claim high Google rankings that will send free traffic your way is still and will probably always remain the #1 traffic generation method. But it isn't the only one.

The second most effective way to keep that traffic flowing is to build a list. Too many Internet marketers forget that the cost in time, money and effort of getting a person to visit your site can be quite substantial. So it is crazy to let someone visit your site, do nothing while they are there and then leave. That's a total waste.

Every website should have some means of capturing the email address and name of at least some of those 'lost' visitors so that you can hopefully persuade them to stop by again at a later date.

Once you have their contact details, by means of an opt in form on your site that is linked to an autoresponder, you don't have to pay an acquisition cost for them ever again. Each time you email them with a new enticement to come back to your site they are your own free traffic generated by you.

The third favorite traffic generation strategy is currently article marketing. Writing articles that other people can use on their websites may sound odd, but in practice it can be very effective. The deal is that when they use your article they agree to display a short ad below it - called your resource box - that you write in such a way as to make clicking a link through to your site an attractive proposition.

Each article you write may only generate a few clicks, but get enough of them out there working for you and you'll build up a steady stream of traffic that you'll never be able to turn off.

Article marketing isn't as effective a traffic generation method as it once was, but many Internet marketers still swear by it and base their entire traffic generation strategies on it.

Generating a constant flow of traffic is where your online business starts and ends. Learning its importance and how to do it in the most effective ways is what separates the people who complain that Internet marketing doesn't work for them from those of us who make a great living.

Niche Marketing - Thinking Small for Earning Big

Continuing our series on Internet Marketing, here's the next installment .....

Ask any successful Internet marketer what the secret to online success is and you'll get a host of different answers. But dig a little deeper and almost all of them will eventually tell you that one of the big secrets is to concentrate your efforts onto a monetizable niche market. So what is niche marketing and how do you find a niche that you can make money from?

That's what this article plans to uncover for you.

A monetizable niche market is, at its simplest, that part of a crowd that is hungriest.

A hot dog stand outside a restaurant isn't likely to do much business, but put the same stand outside a cinema or theater and it will sell out. The people walking past are similar, but some are hungrier than others.

The trick to successful niche marketing is to be able to identify which parts of an audience are ready to buy and to aim all your efforts at persuading them to buy via you.

To give you an example, someone searching with the keyword 'digital camera' is certainly searching for something, but we have no real idea of their intent. The chances are that they are simply dipping a toe into the market to get some background info.

There are 134,000 searches made every day for 'digital cameras' but you could spend a huge amount of time and effort trying to grab a share of that traffic and still have little to show for it at the end.

They are lookers, not buyers.

The next step up after they have done their background research would be for them to search on a manufacturer, so 'Nikon Digital Cameras' might crop up. Is this a niche market keyword? Not yet. They are warmer, but not yet hot. They are still finding stuff out, comparing models and checking price ranges.

But they are not buyers. Not yet.

Nikon Digital Camera is a topic - and possibly a good one to base a whole site or a section of a site upon, but for our individual pages we need to focus on the niches inside the topic.

So, having decided that they like Nikon cameras more than the competition the next step - the buying step - is for them to narrow their research down even more to a particular model.

Someone who searches on 'Nikon D40 Digital Camera' is in the market to buy. They know what they want and now just need to be reassured and pointed at Amazon.

So a brand name is a niche market, but it still isn't necessarily a great niche market. The number of people searching for a term is important, but not all-important. We must also look at the number of websites we would be in competition with if we were to put in the effort to build one of our own.

A great niche market is one where there are lots of hungry, desperate-to-buy searchers, but few websites satisfying their needs.

In the Nikon D40 Digital Cameras example, there are nearly half a million pages online in competition with us - and as we want the easiest route to getting high Google rankings for the pages we build, that is way too much competition!

We are getting warmer, but it isn't hot, hot, hot quite yet!

A few more minutes work and the following products emerge: Samsung T550 Camera, Polaroid Pogo Camera and Fuji Waterproof Camera. Between them they attract over 10,000 searches per month, but none have more than 7,000 competing web pages already out there. Now that's competition we can set about beating!

Niche marketing is about getting the biggest bang for your buck, the greatest return for your effort. The skill lies in learning how to use your keyword research tools to uncover the millions of phrases people regularly type into the search engines that indicate they are in a buying mood, and to keep researching them until you find ones where there is the least amount of competition.

Then build a web page, make it as authoritative as possible, fine tune the on-page SEO to make it on-target as far as the search engines are concerned and develop the off-page SEO by building a network of backlinks. Then add monetization through affiliate links and watch as your hard work reaps its rewards.

Private Label Rights - A Money-Making Magic Wand?

In our continuing series on Internet Marketing, now we're going to discuss .....

Private Label Rights, or PLR's

To anyone outside of the world of Internet marketing, the very idea of private label rights seems a little crazy. But however silly it might sound, many people are making money from PLR articles, ebooks and software every single day.

The concept is simple: one person writes an ebook, a bunch of articles or a software program and then sells on all rights of ownership to anyone who will pay for it. Usually for a very small fee.

So why would someone write, for example, an ebook and then sell all rights to it to someone else? The answer lies in the huge number of people who understand the potential value and are ready and willing to pay for such material.

For sellers, if you can write a short ebook of 20,000 words, or a pack of ten 500-word articles and sell it to 150 different people for $10 each you will have made a tidy $1500. And still retain the right to sell it to 150 more if you can find them.

For buyers, private label can really be like magic: someone else does all the hard work in writing and then for a tiny outlay you can buy the rights to do almost anything you want with the product.

With private label ebooks, articles and software you are generally sold the rights to treat the materials as if you had created them yourself. You can use them exactly as they are, edit them, rewrite them, change the title or name, claim authorship for yourself, create new products by combining several at a time - if you can think of a use, the chances are that you can do it.

The only things you generally can't do involve posting PLR articles to article directories (because the article directories don't like it) or resell the materials with the same private label rights. You normally have resell rights, but not private label resell rights.

But all sources are different and some have fewer rules than others.

Private label rights materials are fantastic for online marketers because they give a quick and easy answer to the age old problem of finding new content for your websites and blogs. Content is the lifeblood of the Internet: your site visitors always want to see new things and the search engines positively reward you for having new content.

Private label rights makes it very cheap and easy to get fresh content that is targeted to the exact niches you need fast.

The only drawback to PLR is that there is an awful lot of bad PLR out there. The majority of what you can find is poorly written junk that has been thrown together in such a rush that it barely makes sense.

Or it has been sold and resold to thousands of people for many years.

Although the vendors of this kind of junk argue that quality is unimportant and that quantity is what counts, the reverse is actually true. The search engines are getting better all the time at working out what is good, authoritative writing and what is semi-literate filler - and you can be sure that your real life visitors can spot the rubbish a mile away.

Would you go back to a website that only offered page after page of nonsense, and would you happily click on links to reward such sites? The answer is almost certainly no.

Luckily there are some vendors of private label materials out there who aim to produce the very highest quality - both in terms of being well researched and interesting to read, and in terms of being written in good English. Those vendors are sometimes a little more expensive than average, but not always. There are a handful of membership sites that provide the very best quality articles, ebooks or software at surprisingly low prices.

As an Internet marketer, content for your web pages, blog posts, newsletters, ezines and autoresponder sequences is what drives your profits. Material to be given away as subscription incentives boosts your mailing list subscription rates and source material to be turned into videos can explode your back links count. And that's just scratching the surface of what you can do with private label materials that someone else has created for you to profit from.

The Amazing Widget - a Game Changer?

'The Traffic & Income Getting Black Box'

I had to ask myself, is this all hype, or is it a true game changer?

The Amazing Widget claims to offer a breakthrough new way to generate 'semi autopilot' traffic and commissions,with the launch of their new Software and accompanying Blueprint.

As I discovered in their video presentation and sales material, by referring others to The Amazing Widget, member-affiliates share equal traffic and commission benefits produced by the Amazing Widgets THEIR referrals create and place online!

So let's say I refer 'Joe' to AWS, and Joe starts generating and placing Amazing Widgets online like crazy using AWS's free Share Tool. My affiliate links literally rotate 50/50 within Joe's widgets, meaning I stand to make half the resulting commissions on total autopilot ('piggy back' style as they refer to it) doing nothing more than having referred Joe initially.

Now, I could be a total deadbeat and still make money with this system off the work of Joe. And what does he care? He has the same benefit from the people he refers. But I'd be a fool to sit back and do nothing, knowing that the more Amazing Widgets I place online, the more my income potential shoots up.

What's Not to Like - We Review KickstartPLR from Martin Avis

Like so many people, I've bought a lot of private label stuff over the years. Articles, ebooks, software ... you name it, I have a hard drive full of it.

The one thing that characterizes most of it though is that it is badly researched and poorly-written. Let's be honest, 90% of the thousands and thousands of PLR articles around are barely even in readable English.

The only reason I keep buying private label materials is that every once in a while you come across a supplier who understands the concept of quality. It's rare, I admit, but they are out there if you look.

And when you do find the good stuff, the money-making potential is amazing. You can literally reap the rewards while someone else does all the work for you!

Good private label lets you do pretty much anything you like - edit it, add to it, merge different articles into a bigger report, post it on websites, blogs, emails ... if you can think of a money-making use for it, the chances are you can do it. The private label license has very few restrictions.

Usually the only no-nos are to post the articles unchanged on article directories, and reselling them as private label. Other than that, the sky - and your imagination, is the limit.

Just recently I came across a new website from husband and wife team, Martin and Delia Avis. Martin has been a full time Internet marketer for years and Delia is an ex English teacher, so between them they know about research, keywords, expert writing and online marketing. A combination of talents that they have put to good use in KickstartPLR.

Link Cloaking - the Ultimate Affiliate Marketers Friend

Link cloaking is a very important part of affiliate marketing. In
a nutshell, link cloaking is a way to protect your affiliate
commissions from being stolen. It's not totally foolproof. Smart
individuals who are well-educated about the matter can still figure
out how to keep you from getting your commission.

But most people won't go that far, so cloaking your links will
prevent most commission loss. How do people steal affiliate
commissions? Well, have you ever hovered over a link and noticed
that the link was an obvious affiliate link?

Some people type in the parent domain instead of clicking the link
as a way of making sure the owner of the site gets paid 100% for
the sale. Some people falsely believe that if they buy from an
affiliate link, they'll have to pay more for a commission mark-up.

Some people actually do it for a different reason. If you're
promoting a ClickBank product, especially to other marketers, many
of them know they can insert their own ClickBank ID and get what's
usually a 50% or more discount on the product.

This is a different type of affiliate commission theft, because the
person doing it gets the affiliate commission themselves, rather
than just making sure you don't get it. Most people don't do that,
of course, but it happens.

Most people are pretty honest, and don't mind giving you a little
affiliate commission in exchange for recommending a good product to
them. But it's enough of a concern that you should take steps to
prevent it.

You can easily set up your own link cloaking system. You can set
up a directory on one of your domains. Most marketers use the
domain of their own name, as in bobsmith.com. Then they typically
have a subdirectory called /recommends/.

Inside of that directory, they create a new subdirectory for each
product, like this: bobsmith.com/recommends/productname. In that
directory, they place what's called a redirect file, which
instantly takes the visitor to the actual affiliate link without
displaying it. You can easily find out how create a redirect by
looking it up online. It's very simple to do.

There are also a number of link cloaking scripts available. Most
of them are relatively easy to install and use. There's a big
benefit to using a script rather than doing it yourself. Using
your simple redirect, there isn't an easy way to check how much
traffic you've sent to your link, like scripts do.

Most link cloaking scripts also allow you to add new links very
easily within an administrative area, and then each link is tracked
so that you can see how much traffic is going through the link. If
you use your own file, the only way to tell how much traffic you've
sent is through your affiliate stats, which may be inaccurate, or
through your web server's stats, which may be difficult to use and hard to understand.

I give it a 4.5 once again for content because not only are the campaigns set up for you, you also have top shelf resources that even I wish I knew about. Haiti, the media, and Shelter Boxes

"Now that there are no more pictures to be had of children being pulled out of rubble alive, it is as if the world's media has decided to vilify Haiti and all concerned with trying to help there - because outrage sells.

"I'm outraged that petty commercial interests are being put in front of millions of people's lives.

"I know that sending aid to a devastated country like Haiti is going to be fraught with difficulties. I know that criminals will try to hijack some of it. I know that desperate people will resort to desperate measures to feed their families. And I know that the sheer scale of the problems means that there will be delays and holdups in getting the right aid to the right people.

"And I still say that we should be sending all the help we can.

Be SMART in 2010

OK, here we go again, looking out for the near future. One of my IM teachers just came out with some pretty good stuff for 2010, and I just thought I'd share it with you:

"With 2010 almost upon us, it is time to set out our goals for the coming year - but make sure the goals you set for yourself are really SMART ones.

"SMART goals are the only kind that you should set for yourself. SMART is an acronym for

Specific
Measurable
Action-oriented
Realistic
Timely.

"Briefly, that means that every goal you set yourself should be measured against that list of concepts.

"If the goal isn't specific, you won't know if you've hit it. 'Be more successful' is too vague. Instead, define what success means in the area you have chosen.

"Unless a goal has a measurable result it is just a wish. 'Make more money' isn't measurable. 'Make $100,000 by January 1st' is very measurable - on January 2nd you'll know for sure!

"Actions are far more effective than aims. For example, 'Impress the boss' is an aim, 'Get to work an hour early three times a week' is an action. Actions are things we can do.

"Realistic simply means that you set your goals a little in front of where you are now. We can all achieve one step ahead at a time, but ten steps in one go may be unrealistic. That's not to say that you won't ultimately reach the tenth step, just that the journey should be broken into realistic stages.

"Timely has two meanings. First your goal should have a specific time limit to ensure that your subconscious brain knows to get on with it. Second, your goals should be possible in the time that you have available. For example, one of your goals may be to learn the piano, but do you really have the hour a day necessary for lessons and practice? If not, then set an intermediate goal of freeing up some spare time.

"So take a hard look at your goals for 2010. Are they SMART?"

Let's Save Money on Gas

I am gonna talk about Money Makers TV in a bit, but first some tidbits you can use.

Here are 5 ways to use less gasoline:
1. Limit "short hops." Instead, go to all your "short hop" places on a single trip, saving time and extra gas.
2. Don't speed - duh. Every 5 mph over 60 wastes about 20 cents per gallon.
3. Have a soft foot. Every time you hit the gas or brake hard, you waste energy. Steady does it.
4. Maintain your car. Tires properly inflated, clean oil, clear filters, all that stuff. You knew that, right?
5. Get that extra junk out of your trunk. Extra weight means lousy mileage, so remove what you really don't need.

I'll be the first to admit, I'm a little rusty on PLR. It's been awhile. And why I got away from it, I'll never know. Grass is greener oncept I guess. But just to get my head back in the game, I went ahead and got Martin Avis's Ebook, "Unlock the Secrets of Private Label Ebooks." It's a very good book, written about, what, 3 years ago? But PLR is PLR, and the basics don't change. And has Martin himself has said, "I have always said that PLR is the nearest thing to magic - someone else does all the work, while you make all the money."

But as good as it is, we've found a guy who actually goes a step or 2 further. And his name is John Thornhill. He's created a system that is completely repeatable, in step-by-step form. Just watch the video on John's sales page to understand what I'm talking about (if you can understand his strange accent, by the way).

Profit from PLR is an amazingly complete, large package. There are 2 PDF files, 35 videos, and a 20 minute audio that go into complete detail about how to make money from PLR. Everything you would ever need to know.

This is good stuff, but I know how it is ..... you want to read some more copy, and cogitate over it a bit more. Private Label Resale, although not fool proof, is pretty close to it. And if you're on the fence a bit, I can tell you it is absolutely the most complete course on how to make a constant stream of money pretty much automatically - from OPW's - other people's work.

Have you looked at CPA yet – as a viable alternative to PPC and/or Affiliate Sales?

If you want another simple but very effective way of marketing WITHOUT having to sell anything...one way to do that is through CPA networks.

This stands for Cost-Per-Action or Cost-Per-Acquisition.

And what that really means is that advertisers are willing to pay you top dollar simply for sending them traffic or generating leads.

Now, the leads could be a zip code, an e-mail address, their mailing address... anything. But, the important thing is that it doesn't need to be a sale!

All you do is get targeted visitors - cheaply - and send them to an offer. You will then get paid a commission for every lead...

If you really think about it, you can be called a "traffic broker" - you buy traffic from one place for a price...
...let's say it's from Adwords at 30 cents per click...

And let's say a CPA offer pays you $3.00 per lead. Not all traffic you send will convert into a lead...

Let's say 1 out of 4 visitors fill out your CPA offer. So you pay $1.20 to make $3.00 giving you a profit of $1.80

This may seen like an insignificant amount, BUT if you find something that consistently converts like this example, you've struck gold!

Now spend 100 times the amount for traffic $120, you'll make $180 ($300-$120)...

NOW... increase advertising by ten times and you'll profit $1800!
And this is only one CPA offer!

And you can duplicate this same process with another offer... and then another...
AND THEN ANOTHER!

Advise as I grow Old

Because we all have both ups and downs as we progress through life, and because my sister-in-law is struggling with cancer treatments, my Mom is struggling with some pretty severe arthritis and back pain, and we're all struggling with the economic downturn, I started thinking about things and life in general, overall.

And I found an article that was written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio. I am repeating it here because it not only gave me pause, but also because it gave me something to really think about, and I wanted to pass it along, and maybe preserve it. My thanks to my friend Ethel for passing this along.

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

There is no fluff whatsoever. The book has 247 pages and is packed with real 'take it to the bank' information.

I am learning a lot from reading it - and now intend to print it out and go through it with a highlighter pen. There is so much good information in here.

You know, as we kick off 2009, there's something that I feel I must talk about. It's call procrastination, and it was my biggest downfall in 2008. And I want to "kick the habit" so to speak in 2009. Why put off tomorrow what you can do the day after seemed to be my philosphy. And it seemed to work, in that I didn't get a whole bunch done in 2008. As my bank account can attest.

I seemed to get up in the morning with lots of good intentions. I had a mental list of the things I wanted to get done. I had an image in my mind of the jobs and tasks that I really needed to take action on. But then other things would pop up, things that would take on an importance way beyond what they should have.

I would think, let's check email, then that would lead me off into all sorts of other directions. For every step forward, I was taking 10 back. That's getting something done? Suddenly the day was gone, nothing accomplished, and I'd say, "Well, there's always tomorrow." But then tomorrow's cycle of procrastination would start all over again.

If you’ve nodded your head even once while you've read this, then you are exactly like me. You procrastinate. And unless you stop, you are doomed to stay on the merry-go-round of underachievement forever.

However, I’ve found a program that really helps. I mean really helps.

Tips for IM in 2009

One of my teachers and mentors, Peter Woodhead, has just published his "top 10 tips for success in 2009." And, I wanted to share them with you, my follower:

"Tip # 1 You Must Have the Right Mindset

You must have the right mindset. Without this - forget
it!

Sure, you want to succeed but maybe you think it's
easy (which it isn't always). Maybe you think you are "different." Or maybe you think it will just
happen for you.

It's none of those. But if you have the right attitude,
I guarantee it will happen for you.

You will already know if you have the right mindset.
Are you teachable? Or are you a know-it-all?

Are you a good listener? Or do you think you're beyond
all of that?

Are you open-minded? But not gullible.

In the New Year I will introduce you to a program that
will help you get the most out of what you have.

Sorry, I can't give you too many specifics right now,
but I promise to keep you informed.

You'd better have got plenty new socks for Christmas
because this program will blow most of the others off.

Tip # 2 Set Your Goals

I know this sounds "old-hat" but, if written correctly,
goal setting does work.

There is a phenomenon known as "visualization." Which
has been scientifically proven to work. How? Why? I
don't know, but it works. Maybe something to do with
quantum physics - a subject I know naff-all about.

But for your goals to work they must be worded correctly.
And the correct wording has to be in present tense.

Each of your goals should begin with the word "I."

That way, the visualization process is so much easier.
And the more detail in there, the better. Here's an
example:

"I own a silver XJ aluminium Jaguar. It has dove grey interior, burr walnut dash, automatic transmission,
cruise control, reverse control, and air conditioning."

Of course, you may not yet own whatever it is, but the
idea of writing your goal as if it has already happened,
is very powerful .

And the visualization of you goal, for example if it's
a car, can be looking onto to your drive and picturing
your goal sitting there.

Finally, at least one of your goals should be about you.
How much you believe in yourself and your confidence.

Tip # 3 Study the Classics

Read something every day.

It has been said that if you read for one hour every day
on a choice subject, then after one year you will be an
expert in that field.

Just imagine what you could accomplish if you read for
2-3 hours a day!

If you want to succeed in marketing to your niche whether
it be online or offline (or both), then you need to study
the classics.

By "classics" I don't mean Shakespeare or Mark Twain
(although these are a good read). I mean marketing
classics and other notables.

And it's no coincidence that all of today's top marketers
have read these classics over and over again. That's
where they go to get their ideas.

Tip # 4 Listen to Tapes/CDs

I do about 25,000 miles in my car each year. I find it extremely boring.

But, I can honestly say that, with few exceptions, I
turn off the radio and plug in some audio CD. This may
be some kind of self-improvement kind of CD or something specific to do with marketing or Internet related.
Whatever.

But what it does for me is that I get a "College Education"
as I'm driving along.

I consider time spent in the car "dead time" and all
of our time is so precious. Once it's gone, you can't
get it back. It's gone forever.

So put it to good use.

I have a library of CDs (and tapes) which I continually
listen to. I could never have too many.

I've even created my own audio products for some of
my projects.

You're wasting your valuable time if you don't use
audio as a medium for your continuing education.

A good source of CDs (and tapes) is Nightingale Conant
and there are always special offers being made on the
Internet from time to time.

Choose what's right for you and learn.

Tip # 5 What do You Want to Do?

You need to make your mind up what exactly it is
that you want to do.

Do you want to market on-line or off-line? Or a
combination of both?

Do you want to sell information products or physical
products? Or a combination of both?

It's your choice.

There's enough niche topics and enough potential
customers out there to satisfy all of us.

The Internet is a medium for finding information. So
it makes sense to provide information products.

If you want to learn how to create your own information products, go to:

Producing information products is probably the best
way to start and then maybe move on to selling physical products at a later date.

But whether you choose to sell digital products or
physical products you will still need a means of marketing.

Having a web presence will be essential. And whether
you do decide to market online or offline you will need
a persuasive "direct response" sales letter. This is called "sales copy."

Tip # 6 Learn How to Write Good Copy

To have any chance at all at selling any of your
products you will need to learn how to write good,
persuasive sales copy.

But to write your own copy will take time. Rome was
not built in a day.

A whole new industry has spawned called "copywriting."
Because it has become clear that good copy sells.
Period.

Most people, try to skip this part. For some unknown
reason they think it's not important . Maybe they're
too eager to get the rest of their sales process
finished and "out there."

Big mistake.

It is a monumental mistake to gloss over your sales
copy.

Whether you are marketing online or offline. You
simply must have good sales copy.

You may have the best product in the world. You may
get thousands of visitors to your site. But if your
copy sucks - you won't sell many of your products.

You have 2 choices. You either pay someone to write
the copy for you or you learn how to write your own.

The former can be cost prohibitive as good copywriters
charge anything from $15K upwards for a single piece
of copy.

It makes sense for you to learn how to write your own
copy.

! In fact it's a necessity !

You will simply not get very far without it.

It will not happen overnight. It's something that
will come with practice.

Maybe you'll never become a top copywriter but you
must become an accomplished copywriter.

And the best way to learn is to read the classics and
to study the copywriting of successful marketers.
Guys like Yanik Silver, Ted Nicholas, and Matt Furey.

Tip # 7 Apprentice Yourself or Get Yourself a Coach.

If you know what you want to do but don't quite know
how to achieve it - apprenticing yourself to a mentor
could well be your jump start to success.

This need not cost you a fortune.

There may be just one aspect that you require help with.
For example, copywriting, or building a website, or
setting up a shopping cart. Or maybe you require help
with all of it.

There will be someone available to help you with
whatever it is you're stuck with. Look online. Search
in your local Yellow Pages. Go to your local technical
college and sign up for a short course on how to use Dreamweaver (or FrontPage) if building web pages is
your weakness.

An alternative is to listen in to our teleseminars
and webinars.

Next year I plan on hosting a lot more of these. I'll
keep you posted.

Tip # 8 Time Management

This sounds as if it's obvious, almost irrelevant.

But I can assure you that it's so important. And I'm
the first to admit that I do not employ my time to
the fullest (although I am improving).

Time is that precious commodity that we all take
for granted.

It's the one common denominator we all have. Rich
or poor. When time passes we cannot get it back.
It's gone.

That's why you need to plan each day. Maximise the
time that you have.

There are many books on the subject to help you
manage your time better. I've read several but one
I have read, really impressed me. It's by Dan Kennedy.
It's called No B.S. Time Management for Entrepreneurs
and is available from Amazon.

I aim to improve my time management in 2009 by at
least 100%.

Tip # 9 Keep in Good Health

All the previous 8 tips are useless to you if you
don't keep yourself in fine fettle.

You need to eat well and exercise regularly (says I
who eats really well and exercises not as much as I
should)

A healthy body helps you to be successful. You feel
less lethargic. You have more energy. And you tend
to focus better.

If you are overweight (like me) do something about
it in 2009. I do something every day, like walking.
My goal for 2009 is to lose a modest 3 pounds a month.
Even I can do that!

Tip # 10 Do One Pro-active Thing per Day

The way to true success is to focus. Focus on your
project in hand.

Be persistent and be consistent.

It is far, far better to do a little every day than
it is to do a lot every two weeks or so.

It doesn't matter what you do, however little, but
make it a habit to do something every single day.

It may only be one hour of reading or watching a DVD
or researching a project. But it's a great habit to
get into.

Make it your habit as well.

After one or two months you'll be amazed at the
progress you've made.

It's important not to "skip" a day and reckon on
making it up later. You won't. When that day's gone,
it's gone.

The only person you'll be kidding is yourself.

But if you've got what it takes from tip # 1, this
will just come naturally to you.

Two New Christmas Strategies

I have just come across 2 new Christmas marketing strategies you really need to know about. Both involve Amazon.Com, one directly and one somewhat indirectly. Once you see these, you'll understand.

The first involves the Kindle Reader Amazon has just released and is selling this year. The idea involves uploading your own information products directly to the Kindle directory, then people with the Kindle Reader buying and downloading your product to their Kindle. Although this seems like a niche market, it could be big. Rebbecca Cooper has come up with a way to sell your Private Label Rights and Public Domain eBooks without

A way to deal with customer service, refunds, etc.
And all of the time, money, and effort it takes to do that!

You see, the Kindle is an electronic ebook reader sold by Amazon. It is the size of a small paperback book, but lighter. It stores hundreds of ebooks that are all downloaded from Amazon's Kindle Store to the Kindle reader. So what we need to do is get our own eBooks uploaded to the Kindle Store. It's Back to School

I've just done something rather unprecedented, at least for me. I've just joined 2 new internet marketing courses that are to run 52 weeks, with a new lesson and assignment each week. Both promise to have me up and running in my very own internet business rather shortly (weeks) and continuing to perfect that business over the course of the entire year. Both are priced identically, and both are by some very well respected and successful internet marketers.

The first is Peter Woodhead's new email course, just released, that will take you step by step into the world of Internet publishing. It's called Million Dollar Publishing. It's detailed, it's comprehensive, lasts 52 weeks, has tons of extras, and is absolutely one of the best deals I have seen in quite awhile. Check it Out.

Two New Programs to Really Investigate

Frank Kern just came out with a new video, all about our country's current money problems, and the opportunities it opens up for us as Internet Marketers. Now, I'm not pushing what he's marketing, but I am saying that he has got a very valid point here. That now is a great time to get really active.

Does The Freedom Class Work?

Does This Really Work? That's what I was asking myself as I tried to learn more about this really facinating class and its inventor/founder/teacher.

You see, I just recently came across this "Freedom Class," a laptop seminar with Tim Brocklehurst. Actually, I heard about it from Martin Avis, and if you've followed me at all, then you know who he is.

He claims that with just 2 days, he can set you up with your own Internet Business set to earn over $66,000 in eight months - and over $100,000 in a year.

The theory is based around the phenomenon of exponential growth, and there are numerous examples of people who have experienced it using effective viral marketing on The Internet.
Viral marketing, it seems, is key to the success of any Internet business. none of the big names online currently would be anything like as successful but for it.

So now, it seems, the whole world is trying to create viral effects to grow their businesses with. Some are succeeding, but many more fail.

So what is it about The Freedom Class, and Tim Brocklehurst, that makes me think there could be something in learning about it this way?

Well, for one thing, the method of learning is intriguing. Tim is using something called "Action Learning" to conduct these classes. Action Learning is a way of learning something by 'doing' it.
On these classes, the participants will bring their own laptops and go through the process of uploading products for sale and giving them an affiliate back-end so that others can sell them too.

Then, they will be giving them a viral boost on the front-end using Tim's own tried and tested viral software, MVS.

His users have had spectacular results with this membership site software. It brings together a wide array of tried and tested viral seeds, triggers and motivators to reach further and get more sign-ups than a normal site could on its own.

Another factor which is sure to help the success of participants, is the mastermind group formation.

Overall, I like the sound of this course. For one thing, its good to see a recognized marketer getting out and showing us, rather than hiding behind the Internet. Huh? 31.95% DON'T know what a "Squeeze Page" is?

Recently, James Grandstaff revealed something that I found quite interesting...

If you've been around the IM (internet marketing) scene for awhile, you've most likely heard the term "squeeze page" before, right?

At least that's what I thought.

Well, James surveyed approx. 500 people on his list who are interested in making money online. Many stated they were interested in affiliate marketing, product creation, MLM, etc...

One of the questions was "Do you know what a"Squeeze Page" is?"

68.05% answered yes and 31.95% answered NO.

To be honest...
I was shocked that 31.95% said no.

In light of this shocking survey data I decided to write this post today to go over the very basics of what a squeeze page is and why you should be using them in your business (if you are not already.)

And for those of you who already use them, pay attention. You will probably learn something too.

A squeeze page which is also known as a "lead capture page" or "name squeeze page" is a simple web page with one purpose; to get your visitor to give you their name and email address so you can follow-up with them. That's it.

One of the best ways to get someone to opt-in to your squeeze page is by offering something of high perceived value such as a mini ecourse or a highly targeted eBook.

For example, let's say you are promoting a multi-level marketing business opportunity. The products are great and you are a raving fan.
